Each spring, for the past 9 years, riders from all over the Midwest have hit the pavement of Indiana’s back roads on their bicycles to raise money and awareness for the mission of Habitat for Humanity in Indiana. In May cyclists will embark on a 360 mile journey through Central Indiana. The route will start in Lafayette, with overnights in Crawfordsville, Terre Haute, Linton, Bedford, Bloomington, and Plainfield. We will end our ride in Indianapolis at Riverside Park.
At each stop we will be hosted by a local Habitat affiliate that will put us up in a church or community center. In a typical day we will cover about 60 miles on our bicycles. Riders will be supported with a SAG (support and gear) van which provides mechanical and medical assistance, water, and snacks.
We invite you to join us in a ride that will not just lift your spirits, but will help Habitat for Humanity raise many walls that will become homes for fellow Hoosiers. You will help us in our mission to ensure that every man, woman, and child has a decent place to sleep at night! Could there a better way to spend a spring week? Join us for one day, three days or the entire event!
